no problem, I think I must have tried all permutations now, swapping modules, different soundcards (in my 2nd pc) but no joy so it,s back to 3.01 for now..

This just in: I can confirm there is a bug with SPDIF input that wasn't there in previous version. My dbx386 preamp doesn't work (again). It worked fine before but not with SFP. Clearly something amiss.

Has anyone else confirmed this or a fix yet?

this post makes me a pulsar geek ; hehe

yes most odd, looks like it all has to do with what the spdif source is, soundcard, cd player. etc..

update!

this is a conflict between egosys wt2496 and pulsar2 spdif in..,RME works fine.

Hi people, ok bottom line is 3.1a failed to fix this problem.

im off to buy an rme hammerfall so I wont need the spdif anymore. my problem seemed to be obscure and between the Egosys and the new sfp 3.1 software. in fear of a long awaited fix (or none) this is my only sollution. those that still have spdif problems I hope a fix comes sonner than later.

thread unnoficialy closed.

can someone (please) test the spdif (IN) module, I cant get any signal at 44.1k
32k 48k are all fine as soon as I switch to 44.1k the signal vanishes.

I have the exact same routing and config as in 3.01 . so the only thing that has changed is 3.1 update.

consequently I reinstalled 3.01 alongside 3.1
and all still works in 3.01, so it doesnt seem to be a driver issue.

routing>

(pc2)egosys wt2496 spdif out into(pc1) pulsar2 spdif, back into (pc2)
korg 168 on adat(a)in+out of pulsar.

system:
windows xp pro
pulsar 2 x 2
asus a7m266
