Touch Screen the next step - LEMUR

Post by astroman »

well, I was kind of kidding at Holger's announcement...
but at least this shows how things might look like... one day :D

admittedly - I was extremely surprised, when I noticed that the LEMUR setup software (on Mac or PC) builds a wireless connection to the Lemur app running on the iPad.
Obviously acting exactly as it would do with the hardware device.

Those familiar with Scope SDK should feel right at home, so check this software out :D
Us regular folks may need a couple of examples to peek at, but there are plenty...
(download from the Jazzmutant site)

Imho it is the most powerful toolkit to build midicontrollers for existing Scope setups.
It's very responsive, much faster than anything I tried before.

cheers, Tom

if you dont want to mess around with OSC-MIDI and network in your computer, this works well with it.

i can use the lemur ipad thingy to control scope and/or a MIDI-CV on my modular.

I got it few weeks ago! It's great! Have made a 12 channel controller which I have mapped to the mixer. Not very advance! But handy! If anyone makes any good template feel free to share :)

Been playing with TouchOSC and enjoying it tremendously! It allows me to use my phone (and soon a tablet, once I have some scratch in the bank) to create custom control banks for all my Sonic-Core devices! I can even create an X/Y controller for Vectron!!

Super dope.

Reaper has an OSC-MIDI converter plug and other toys that make a Behringer update, and are leaning towards Lemur sytle extensions.
Open Source is crucial so Scope 6 needs to address this too as us kiddies like our toys...
