pci board + Xite-1 together

Post by robinette »

Hi.

I wonder if they can work together a Scope Pro + Xite-1 on the same PC.
In the case of possible... How would I do?

Thank you.

It's possible to have both PCI and PCIe/Xite Scope systems running IN PARALLEL on the same system.
So the real use would be to simply link the two via ADAT and switch back-n-forth.

Due to limitations in the ASIO spec. (and therefore ASIO drivers), your host will probably SEE both systems, but will only be able to record from one or the other, but not both at the same time.

In other words, it's entirely possible to run both - up to a point.

Using one or the other as an extension is the best option IMO.

I hoped to build on all inputs and outputs of both cards but I somehow can not be done.

Thanks to all... you have helped me a lot.

You can feed the inputs of PCI cards via ADAT to the XITE-1.
