Re: DAS C350 Update
Another perfect companion for Solaris.
I was going to use the DAS Gate and Brickwall Limiter since Solaris has it's own EQ, but it's 3 Band and I always liked the CHannel Strip approach when only using a few instruments form outside the Box.
The Compressor with high ratios acts as a Brickwall Limiter. I tested the below settings with Solaris. Solaris' Volume knob was at 50%, when I cranked it I heard no difference in the levels, so now I have what I need for the SE-1 and Solaris. These are very powerful beasts and each preset can easily have jumps in the level that make performing less enjoyable as you must concentrate on whos playing what and using your ears instead of ignoring the players and having to reset your levels...........most irratating.
Also Solaris has a damping feature for it's georgeous 96k Delay, and instead of using the Keyed DAS Gate, which is overkill, the C350L Gate is the same quality with less features, but clips the effects tails perfectly.
Damn between DAS and RoyT. I have had a beautiful Solaris week.
Now let's see if the C350L can tame the powerful SE-1, the punisher of anything Native, and virtual.
That's a test, as the C350 didn;t take away any transients from the Solaris, so if the same tricks work on the SE-1 I will be a happy camper.
Thanks Dante, and thanks Olive, Eric and Thomas.......my brotha's from other muthas'........

Re: DAS C350 Update
Hardware version.
Using Analog I/O so far but have the Hosa ODL-312 AES/EBU Converter, and new MOTU USB to MIDI 8 x 8 coming, so the signals might be an improvement at 96k, we shall see.
But again the C350L is really nice update.
Brickwall quality at using the Compressor at high ratios, and the same quality of the DAS Gate, but lacking many features meeded for super tricky sidechaining stuff.

Re: DAS C350 Update
Have you written to DAS support support@digitalaudiosoft.com ?
or maybe you need the updated files if your running 64 bit :
http://www.digitalaudiosoft.com/plugins ... igned-SYS/
http://www.digitalaudiosoft.com/plugins ... EQ-Bundle/
DASCOEFF11.sys is for Legend + C350 +Masterit EQ
Also you need Scope 5.x
