Post by YISH313z »

Got that STS stutter first then BAM!, BSOD with SPL2.VXD as the culprit.

Anyone know what's going on here?

Fresh Win XP install

Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3
Core2Duo
ASUS P5N-D
Total Physical Memory 3 GB

Scope 5.1...

meh, its fine Gary, I just realized, VXDs are not supported on Win XP, it may have been a call for a VXD by some process, it may have been Scope, not sure, I've been dabbling in some of the older Devices and I now realize that some of them may not be updated to work on 5.1. I just need to be careful. STS is running SUPER good thus far, Ive been throwing Massive SF2 files at it and it hasn't choked, 1 file was 300 megs with serious piano layers that I couldn't even hear with the limited Polyphony.

Cheers
