I like all of the stuff.
FWIW I did sell some cherished synths, but really saved on Alchohol by hanging out at the Gay Bars where the drinks are free.

The Patch above is a Solari preset.
You first hear a Waldorfs, #21 and Bowens Jaws Osc.
Then ModWheel brings in 2 of your Spectra 2 waves.

I am getting quite a collection and first must choose which ones I will keep in my custom bank as I am a load one time guy, none of this staring at the DAW when there's fine trim dancing...

I am building as we speak. So many excellent sounds and it seems I need to buy an 8GB Card, as my little 4GB'r's are already obsolete....

nice one JV :)

This is no comparison, but i just started twiddeling around to make some presets. I say replace the devs chorus and delay with phase18 and Hifi's delay, add some reverb and you have timbre heaven. This is just something i recorded while playing with the formula4 waves, 4 lame chords for just over a minute, but i love the texture and motion:)

ive added the vectron single cycle sets to

listened to the mp3 sounds nice

you seem to have lots of dc offset in the left channel compared to the right channel

but a very nice shimmering sound

I don;t know the scientific stuff like DC Offset, etc.
But I have the Full Panning device attached to the Joystick for Panning.
That way when I vector I can have the sounds come from the left and right which has a surprising effect.

Nice mp3 NTN...

I am just finishing up my collection of files I will keep.
So far I have the 3 folders, Spectra 1, Spectra 2 and the D50.
I am choosing which wav.s I will keep from the 2 Spectras. They are the extra ooomph that Solaris really needed for the Sample Oscillators.
Excellent sounds.
The D50 loops are kind of funky so JB is checking them out again.
I am up all night on this as I found a sub for my gig. The kid is so green and hungry, but has chops, he asked if we were going to split the pay.
Then I had to sit him down and teach him how to succeed in Vegas. He gets the entire check, I get 10% of the gross since I do all of the booking since the other guys would rather someone hold thier hand and put cash in it.
The kid acts like I'm George Washington or something.
I might even let him take over the group when I go to convention heaven this summer.
Always wanted to find someone I trusted with my connections. They took 27 years to ensure a living and this kid is a good hearted guy, good husband, and father and he's only 24 years old.
Rather have him than one of these video poker addicts that whine when they miss a week of work.

Anyways. nothing but time until the 18th..........

jimmy your patch was perfect i was talking to ntn his vectron mp3 pad

i was just pointing out that he had a lot of dc offset on the left channel compared to the right

its a real pita trying to loop samples with bad dc offset especialy if they are stereo files

i always split them into dual mono so you can loop each channel seperately much better than in a stereo file

as one file will be perfect looped and the other becuase of difference phase or panning has clicks

so splitting them and having there own loops stops that problem

but when there is large dc offset its virtually impossible to loop

talked to john and sent him some more files he has all the files from the vectron that i put to the forum for the solaris

so you will have plenty to choose from

theres a good few years of material there for making never ending patches

and after naam we are going to go more in depth

The DC offset is probably because of the phaser (i think i have 14 poles on left channel compared to 18 on right) so its my bad.

Here's some Transwaves and 16 Player String Ensemble..........
More old school licks, but they are good for long attacks on strings/vox, etc.
I'm quite confident Solaris will shine at NAMM.

As Mr.T would say..........Interviewer/: Do you accept the challenge with other VA's in a synth shootout.....?
Mr. T/:....I refuse the challenge, as other VA's are no challenge, but I would like to beat up on them some more.....

Nice composition! Brilliant curves and a nice and tight bottom to support it. Very in-your-face.

The music below the profile picture sounds brilliant as well!

No Messe unless they pay for my flight.
But NAMM will be the day of reckoning.
No synths will sound as good as Solaris, and JB just sent me a new combo using 3 of your groups, LA Scoring Strings, and some other goodies.
It's a monster, and Vectron is now a powerful beast thanks to your waves and NTN's selflessness and hard work.
I will definately be having the time of my life.

Thanks Again m8's...

next to nothing wrote:Next revision ready, now including the formula4 and PPG upper wavetable samples.

I'll post it in the "presets" section as well for conveniance.

(Sounds lovely btw)
I finally got the time to investigate this stuff but cant seem to get it happening. When I open 'VectronWaves.pre' in the Vectron and select anything ( eg PPG UWT ) I get nothing.

Is 'VectonWaves.pre' the only thing I need or do I need the files from rapidshare as well ?

you need to open the .pre file in the waveform screen as its a preset file for that not a preset file for the patches preset

I wish next to nothing would create the virus wavetables for Vectron like he did with the other sets.
I am quite lame, a special needs adult actually.
Thankfully my fingers work, or there'd be a Bounty On My Head.....
