1 osc bells from d50
1 osc spectra2 from d50 and

1 osc with multicycle try evie vox

1 osc with another multicycle try jack choir

and set so it plays nice with cem filters

and record it so i can hear it

I'll need some time as I am screwing things up already as I am totally incompetant when it comes to the 1's and 0's stuff.
I have to read over the instructions several times, and do this in an area that won;t screw up my presets and sample pools I already have.
But yes, when it's ready it will be heard.

Hopefully sooner than later...

Had a small accident with rev.2 (PPG) so that will arrive tomorrow after work.

No problemo.........the efforts from yooz two guys will be historical.....
I remember in the '70's and esrly '80's I could hear a synth and tell you what it was instantly.
In the later '80's after MIDI we started hearing Duran Duran, and othe groups getting really great synth layers and I could never figure out what they were using, but I did recognize the Waldorfs and PPG's.
But with Solaris and Vectron those nice lush sounds like Lunatic Fringe, etc. come effortlessly now, thanks to yooz two guys.

no probs

i ended buying loads of das plugs

i can sell me aspare hardware all going to the xcite fund and solaris

im going to sell 2 of my pulteq eqs

and the waldorf wave when i get the scope 6 open sdk

i have all the ppg wavetables

and all the wave and uwave and xt the newwavetables from the ppg3 soft synth

the largo wavetables and loads of blofeld

i have the full vfx sd transwavetables and the sq1/2/sqr

plus all the transients and the cyclic multicycle waves and the nonharmonic waves

i made trans waves from m1 single cycle spectra and t1 where they morph from 1 wave to another

so for the solaris and vectron i have milions

and when we get the sdk and i create the transwave osc for scope then magic will happen

i have a transwave robotic voice hear saying solaris do you want me to make that into a 128 single cycle wavetable

jimmy ill make it as a wave trip for you aswell so that you can loop it will be cool

im also going todo the virus spectra and ni massive wavetables in single cycles ill do them on wednesday while im waiting on partsfor customers

synths repairs

here is a smaller wavetable math formula4

its only 64 slices of spectra

https://rapidshare.com/files/3385311060 ... e_waves.7z

now i think there is enough to get on with for every body to play with

i think there should now be a patch contest

and we can make a 100 best of patch bank from all members of the forum

and we can all vote for our favourites

what do you all say

im in

so all my patches will have my initials jml

OMG These are incredibly well looped and the variations are spectacular. I have some difficulties w/ the D50 stuff, as 50%seems to work, but many partials are missing from the original D50 or I am having txt. file problems and mapping troubles.
But the 2 Spectra Pools JBowen made are fierce....!!!!!
Solaris sounds like an incredible Choir and I just made 1 preset....
I will be using these no doubt about that.
A famous String Developer Company has sent me the 16 Player Sustained samples and when the Vocals and Strings are mixed it's like the Gods descending from Mt. Olympus....

Many Many thanks and audio demos will be coming w/ and w/o Vectron stuff too.

Here's my take on having Solaris and Vectron.

I can emulate the Oberheim SEM, OBX, Matrix 12/XPander Combo, Yamaha DX7, Roland D50, Prophet VS, Prophet V. Waldorf Microwave, PPG 2.3, Waldorf Wave, Roland Jupiter 8 and a decent hardware sampler of the '90's lineage.

Thanks So Much GUys

funny thing, i was just playing the vectron with continuum, and it is quite fun setting the y and z direction to the joystick.
unfortunately i have to set up a separate one for each note of polyphony i want, so i usually dont bother with more than 3 or 4.

I always thought it was a great sounding synth but i kind of stopped using it with my scope cards because it crashed on me a few times.

You have the Hakken....?
Bloody Lucky You....
Jeez a Solaris, the Hakken and an XITE-1 are serious tools....
By the time you get Solaris there will be a custom bank of the best samples ready.
You're going to love what you hear chief...

cant wait for my Solaris! i think they are up to #40 or so and mine is #56 or something.
when it comes to cool stuff, don't forget one of my favorite "cool stuff" which is the sequentix cirklon with the CVIO (8 trig/gate/16CV)it is great for sequencing anything in my modular,so much so i havent bothered building or buying any analog sequencer bits, and it has 5 MIDI outs as well, slaved with "sync lock2" it is rock solid with the computer if need be.(no midi lag or jitter) and it is great fun to use and deeply amazing!

the continuum is one of the best things i have bought, I know its expensive, I guess it is like getting a nice guitar or something, but it is an instrument that really suits me (in fact i sold 2 guitars to help buy it lol, havent picked one up since) and there is nothing really like it.

playing synths with it can be a problem, first of all they have to have "mode 4" also called "guitar mode" MIDI which means each MIDI channel has its own pitch bend and CCs, even though they are playing the same voice also the pitch bend range should be able to go up to at least 24 (it limits the amount you can slide a note)

usually with scope synths i load a few in mono mode, and set them to separate channels. unfortunately i have to change all their programs separately, and if i modify a patch i have to re load the preset file and set each synth separately.

hopefully ill be able to fix that with open scope, and i am working on a personal scope synth for continuum as well.
the continuum also has some very nice built in synths on its own SHARC (with more on the way)
there are also some custom reaktor patches for it, and it is deeply integrated with kyma, if i decide to get a paca. (probably not now with the new scope eventually a lot of that magic can be done with native + scope)

I have the Haken "CVC" which i can hook up to my modular and make it play real VCOs, I have 4 VCOs which are close enough the same on most waves plenty of VCAs, but i do not have 4 matching filters yet. (that will be fixed soon, i made a new dual analog SSM2044 filter board and i have 50 in the mail right now!)

they will pay for themselves, and then some :)

john bowen says its some thing with the memory

some times they load sometimes they dont

so you like my multicycle waves

i have 5 children and i sampled all there voices and made many of those samples

they are fat and layering 4 diferent ones and vector synthing them is amazing

but im only using them on my asr10 no solaris yet

there are 105 d50 rom transeints including some looped content

they are all there

check back with john

i know that the loop information is different for each file on the d50 as some are multicycle and some are single cycle

and the rest a variation loops and transients

where as all my other personal sample creations that i sent are

multicycle spectra 2 banks of 50 are perfectly 512k looped samples

the othere are the same type as the ones for the vectron that i have been sending

which are 256 samples f5-24cents loops

so the text file will be bigger for the d50 rom set as there will be more txt for loop info

have you tried the wave trip samples yet

and gary you are way to greedy 2 solaris

at leat you could play both at the same time with different sound sets now that would be a set up

and better still when we have my transwave osc implimented into the solaris then we will have dual waldorf waves but with the abilty to

have 4 seperate wavetables then you will be in for a treat

as when i do it on the asr10 and i show people how to make patches with them they look at me and go what thats amazing

heres to a bright new future for scope users

heres one saying vectron

now when the open scope 6 sdk come out

i will port this osc and you will be able to sweep through it

just like how it plays

this is so uwave and wave user wave tables i used to use a atari st speech synth for wavetable creation for the wave and uwave

and i have been messing with it in steam st editor for pc

https://rapidshare.com/files/1368518440/VECTRONA.WAV

ill do the single cycles later got to fetch the kids from school

its great working from home but pita to as i always do the school run 3 times a day

let me know what you think

and any surgestions of wavetables

Sorry i dont have the solaris (hardware) i am afraid :(

I would love to have some new and shining presets, and i think/hope people will be inspired to make new presets when they hear the waveforms :) Now that i'm done with these banks i might start making my own pretty soon :)

the comp is for the new waveforms for vectron

i dont have a solaris either im just supply soundware for it

there is a big waiting list for the solaris any way

which is great as it gives people time to save for one and the excite

as jimmy will tell you he had to sell some of his rare synths to purchase them both

so lets see who can make the best patches then every one
