Intel's new chipsets with native PCI support

Post by peksi »

To my understanding this might prove to be a good option for early adopters who don't want to get stuck with PCI bandwidth problems. Intel is shipping out new LGA 1155 chipsets Q75 and Q77 chipsets with native PCI support. They should be out in march.

Any comments and corrections very welcome.

I am seriously considering buying Q77 / Q75 board if it really has enought PCI bandwidth for my Pulsar1 + 2.

i'll guess that it will work.

it might take a month for a bios that allows it to work as it should though.

then don't buy the latest thing. the latest thing is often like that.
or wait a month or so, or just dive in and deal with it...
