Red Dwarf Loading supplied presets

Hi,
when I try and load the presets for Red Dwarf it asks for the path to the devices but indicates they need to be .dev's and all the extensions in the folders are mdl's. When I load the mdl's instead of the devs, the preset works OK. It's a real pain having to keep loading all presets 'manually' each time.
Could some one check it for me please?
