Hi
I'm thinking of buying a pair of Genelec S30D and hooking them up to the digital out of my Pulsar2.
I dont have the plus version with the AES/EBU connectors.
I only need the digital out to be AES/EBU - is this possible ?
I can select on the Pulsar2 SP-DIF Dest module - the professional SP-DIF mode
But what to do about the cable ? Is there any way to modify this ?

I think the plates are completely different.
One solution might be something like this (for a more professional solution):

Or this for a budget solution:

Just use a phono to xlr converter on the SPDIF and you are good to go.
The digital signal is the same, just lower/higher in voltage (spdif is the lowest) - to my understanding you can have longer cables without the signal dissapering on AESEBU (because of the higher voltage)
Should work without any problems.
