Ya know, the new SFP is out.. and then everyone's got all sorts of different problems.. it's like letting out a pack of monkeys into the jungle. Everyone running all over the place and doing all sorts of things. nothin' serious, just trying to visualize such a scene made me laugh.

I'm the monkey that has tried to get to the fruit, been pushed back by the crowd and is now sitting a little way distant wondering whether those bananas are really worth having.... after all the ones I've already got taste so sweet

i just climbed in my 'apple'tree, to have a peek from above, and i think i'm just gonna go back.

i liked the routing window as it was, i had no problems on my setup, and according to CW site, the only new devices i get, are Arp01 and a few mixers (i liked PM, maybe the surround mixer could be fun, whenever i have the bucks to buy some extra amps  )

i'm gonna check it out at atomic's place in an hour... i might change my mind, but i don't see too many happy mac faces. maybe SFP3.2 will be THE one for me. i'm glad to see some (sandro and others) got rid of some nasty things.

Not to spread bad feelings, but I'm getting convinced that CW solved many of the problems on devices changing them with newer ones with newer problems, often saying "The update is free of charge..."

If I wasn't into a project and working at the moment, I would have installed it as well... But I just sat down looking at the monkeys doing all sort of things... It's a way to save your head as well, cos when I'm going to install it, I'm going to read all the problems about, and evoide them hopfully. But I would certainly like to be there with you, trying it out right now!

Well as I have just purchased a Scope card partly based on the promise of some fantastic synths that were coming in 3.1 there is a great incentive for me to install the new software.

Currently, I'm still using the Pulsar software because I had the Pro pack and Prisma and some others didn't ordinarily come with the Scope software. With Scope Fusion I get a tonne of new and exciting stuff including the Vectron which I've been drooling over for a while.

So for me the update is quite a major one, but I'll have to wait until I can organise some time with the distributor because I'm sure as hell not going to download over 100MB on my pissy dial-up modem.

I'll try to make sure I can revert to my original Pulsar install if I start having problems.

Something nice to look forward to !

I await your comments on the Vectron with interest. It looks like a nice machine. Unfortunately it was the first demo device I ever tried to download - and stuffed up the procedure

When I first got here, 2.0 days, a wise many told me about the way that Creamware works. It's kind of like Windows. When something new comes out wait for the service pack! That wisdom hold true to this day. In a month they'll have those pesky little bugs worked out and we can all feel safe with our upgrades.

Imaine the population explosion that would occure, if Trojan condoms worked like that?

Thanks, I'm waiting and will wait my turn. I like plantains myself, thank you.

3.1 is on my computer at the moment... but still zipped!

I think I'll wait untill you guys sorted out all the problems when running XP... don't want to switch to '98.

Meanwhile I've send an email to CW for the last 20 ProPacks.... hope is worth the money like everybody says!
