Hi !
I have a Problem to patch a Behringer BCF2000-MIDI-Controler and STM 2448.
First: The Connection between the Devices are no Problem and works perfectly. (USB/MidiOX)
The STM is set to Midi Omni Mode.
Now patching the STM Fader CH1 to BCF-Fader CH1...
--> rightclick STM-Fader1 -->move BCF-Fader1 --> Midi+ --> All OK. ( Channel 1 CC1 )
Problem: If i want to patch the STM-Fader 9 with BCF Fader 1 (BCF-Preset No.2) ( Channel 2 CC1 ) , the STM does not makes a diffrent between Channel 1 and 2 ?
Question: How can I send ControlChange Messages over more than 1 Midi-Channel to one Scope-Device (STM 2448) ?
Big thx, i hope there are "Scope-Masters" here today !
Greetz, Stefan

Re: STM 2448 / BCF2000 / Midi-Patching
Maybe your STM is set to Omni Mode.
I guess the STM is only able to receive message on all channel (hence making no difference between the same CC message mapped to diffrenet midi channel) or one dedicated channel (then you have to use the same midi channel on your preset 2 but with different CC messages: CC9 for 9th fader up to CC24 for 24th fader)
Then you can map the panorama on CC 25 to 48 ...
That's the way I would do it ...

Re: STM 2448 / BCF2000 / Midi-Patching
no need for a master degree to find out that what you want is simply not possible with the architecture of the device.
The mixer reacts and sends only on 1 Midi channel.
Wolf has an alternative 16/32 Channel Mixer which also supports the Mackie protocol.
SpaceF's Modular Mixer System also does multi channel control.
cheers, Tom

ok, thx for the fast answer...
the reason for this problem is, that i use more than 119 cc and its more easz to configure the bcf with more than 1 midi channel...
thx a lot guys

Then the best way would be to check Wolf and SpaceF alternatives ...

Edit the BCF: Assign different CC's to each fader, just keep them on the same MIDI channel. The default Program #1 does this.
