Vista/Win7 (x64) tweaks?

Which Vista/Win7 tweaks for Scope x64 daws?
I've been working with Xp x32 till now; I can see much more services running in later OSs and it looks like most of them (i.e. the "scheduler") can't be switched off...
How do you guys optimize resources for audio?
Is it good to increase thread priority for the sequencer and for Scope?

Apart from usefull suggestions about installation issues and DSP optimization on Xite, I can find there only BIOS tricks for ultimate mainboards and CPUs.
I forgot to state I'm using PCI boards and a dual core CPU socket 775.
I was wondering about OS services to disable, windows registry tweaks, threads priority and similar... in order to allocate the most of CPU time and memory amount for audio tasks

I don't know any sites sorry, but I have not bothered to look as everything seems OK without a bunch of tweaks.

other than turning off the visuals(properties/advanced/performance-settings/adjust for best performance), there's probably not much to gain vs. potential instablity and/or diminishing returns...

In my main job, I'm responsible for a large VMWare environment with lots of virtual Win7 clients. We did some optimisations for the virtual Win7 machines. I think most or at least some of the tweaks could also be very useful for an audio workstation. Have a look at the pdf attached, start at page 17: Windows 7 Operating System Customizations
