If you encounter problems using for example Saturn synth (no compatible audio outs) just load a working synth instead (U Know 007 for instance), route all outs to desired ins and then replace it with Saturn. I had such problems on my Mac but perhaps this workaround works on PCs, too.

I don't know if you understand me correct: I mean loading old devices into new projects (loading old projects is simple and in my case didn't cause any problem, even complex ones).

I found some minor bugs in the Mac version of SFP (and one major but not too important for me - SndManager input doesn't work at all, as always) but - yes, for me it's the greatest update ever!!!

Don't bother the soundmanager ins/out, Andy (they are called wavesource now). The world of asio is our future!!! and the mac-builtin audiocard is mor than enough for games. DVD movies -> if you want quality you'd better buy a separate amplifier and player

yeah, but it was so easy: mp3, real, internet,... AND my music making system all going through the same output. no switching, no extra cables,... i'm poor and don't know s**t about computers. that's why i like mac/pulsar/cubase

btw, just installed my new barracuda, looks good so far.
