Pro Tools HD & PCI Scope in same machine... Lunacy??

Post by chriskorff »

Would the above be total madness? I have a HD rig and a Scope rig... at the moment they're separate. Would it be utter madness to try and get them both in the same PC? It would save me a lot on upgrades (only having one PC), and if I could use the 'jumper trick' that someone else on this forum used to get Scope plug-ins to work in PT HD via the VST to RTAS wrapper, then maybe I could get rid of one of the old beige boxes...? Maybe?

yeah, maybe...
i would think that using the Scope cards as "xtc" cards with no i/o would work as you hope.

Well it should be doable...

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
