Scope midi player
Scope midi player
Is there such a thing? Something you could use to drive a ScopeSynth (instead of having to use an ASIO sequencer)
well, even if I repeat myself for the 150th time...
it is (and remains) nonsense or a waste of resources to process 'midi' which is nothing else but logic-fiddling-within-an-8-bit-data-stream on a DSP.
I bet the thing Scope4Live posted above has some Z80 CPU running at 10 MHZ and it will outperform any software/dsp setup in the domain of midi - using not even 10% of the processing 'power'
cheers, Tom

Re: Scope midi player
So...did anyone ever maker a simple midi file player for Scope? Would still be useful.
Re: Scope midi player
isn't any sequencer a Scope midi player?
Re: Scope midi player
Yes but I really want something simple I can just load inside Scope rather than load an external programme and wire it in - just a player - doesn't need sequencinggaryb wrote:isn't any sequencer a Scope midi player?
Re: Scope midi player
Thanks - that's a bit more than I need but if it will just load and play midi files that's enough for meXITE-1/4LIVE wrote:http://forums.planetz.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=28778
