Hi all!

I am still quite new here and have a question. Has there ever been the idea of regular musical collaborations in this forum?I mean I am very interested in sharing ideas, files and projects with you guys from Japan, Australia, Croatia or elsewhere. I really like the folks around here and the most staff in the musical section. Wouldn´t it be great to have a special area here for making music together?

Well, we do have an experiment going on right now.. it should be the first of many of these "collaboration" experiments. But there's no rule that says that there can't be another one so maybe you could call out for another collaboration project? That'll be cool.

i found your upload to be very much my taste, calippo...

not really on topic, but related... i've learned a lot about pulsar, cubase and how they work on my mac, i've always read the numerous threads concerning PC problems  but what about cubase songs? i never tried it, but i thought i can read .wav files in cubase/mac, or was i just dreaming?
i know the answers probably will be here somewhere, but just thought about it while writing this post.

I remember Nuendo for Mac reading wav files straight so it must work for Cubase..

idd, as long as your program recognises the files, your OS will follow

All Cubase version's songs are compatible. If the song is imported into a an earlier version of Cubase, it will load, but with the newer stuff left out. Ie. VSTi2 stuff etc is not recognised in early Cubase versions.

Programs (and thus files) that are not cross platform are AFAIK Acid, Fruity and Samplitude. But don't worry, wav and midi are fine

Following is in german, cause it concerns calippo mostly. (there has just another project been started with some more response, check it out under the link below).

Hi calippo,

hervorragende Idee, einen neuen Song zusammen zu starten, aber Deinen Thread findet man nicht so leicht.

Ein ähnlicher Thread ist unter "Creativity" gestartet worden:
http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... forum=7&15
Der hat jetzt schon einige response, check doch einfach rein und mach dort mit, ich bin auch dabei.
Noch Fragen, Kienzle? --> zounds@web.de
