i have the samson mdr 1248 mixer. it is a just ok mixer.
the thing that i am trying 2 days now is to manage to be able to record seperate analog from asio channels to ableton and at the same time to be able to use the mixers effects and scopes mixers effects simultaneusly.
is that possible?

If the Samsung had a SPDIF IO on it, I would say yes. Otherwise, you would have to re-route from Scope analog outs to 2 inputs of the Samsung, and stereo out from the Samsung back into Scope analog in. I would trust the effects in Scope more than the ones in the Samsung.

yes, thats what i do but i try to find the most convenient way without feedbacks

The only option left, is using the Scope stereo analog out, direct to a pair of powered monitors, and get an 8 channel ADAT IO for your Scope card.
Or use 2 dry aux sends from the Sampson to the analog ins of the Scope card & the 2 channels of the Scope you are using in the Sampson, don't use the sends on those 2 channels at all...so you won't be sending the Scope signal back to itself...then send the stereo mix from the Sampson to your monitors..basically bypassing all the FX on the Sampson
