"cant find DSP file inverter - Please check installation"

Ive just started getting this message when loading some of the Scope synths like U KNOW 007

Running Scope 4.5, ive tried reinstalling but the error message still pops up

Does anyone know what this means or how to fix it?

sure, this is a common problem with the v4 installer, especially when installed from cd. i always place the install files on the desktop, installing from there, that seems to avoid this kind of error.

the solution is simple. close Scope. go to scope/app/dsp and look for the missing file. if it's there, right click on it, choose properties and uncheck "read only". that should fix it. if it's not there, go to the dsp folder in the install files, copy the file and then paste it in where it should be. if unchecking "read only" doesn't work, delete the file and then copy and paste from the install files.
