In V4.* you used to be able to right-click the dials in effects and assign them to MIDI controllers, just like you can assign the knobs of synths to MIDI controllers.
This functionality doesn't seem to be in the V5 version. Am I missing something?
(A good example is the "Ring Modulator S" effect. Right-clicking on the knobs does nothing, where it should show a "MIDI Ctrl Assignment" window.)
V5 bug: Missing MIDI controller assignments on effects
Re: V5 bug: Missing MIDI controller assignments on effects
As far as I recall you could only midify effects by inserting them into a multifx dev and then right clicking?

Yes. Look at the module - it has no MIDI In so having a right-click would be meaningless.

I had a play with an old V4 system the other day and just wanted to say "sorry" - you're right. There isn't any MIDI assignment for effects. I'm sure I remembered it being there!
