Live8 and Scope 4.5

Post by siriusbliss »

Anyone using Live 8 with Scope 4.5 yet?

Seems that Live ASIO doesn't like to do multi-channel audio routing very well (once you get it setup of course :P )

Samplitude is VERY happy routing in/out all over the place, but the infamous Live is still a no-go so far.

Well, I have upgraded to Live 8, but I have Scope 4.5 on another PC, so this might not apply... Anyway, in spite of some minor problems with v.8 (especially when opening v.7 projects), I have had no issues whatsoever with using and routing multiple ASIO busses between both machines or within Live...

Greg, you might try the steinberg asio patch on the S/C site. perhaps the new driver in v5 will work properly with Live8...

UGH...

...and risk bonking the now 8-year stable drivers that Samplitude is happy with...

hmmmm....may have to do some more tests first, but I guess I can always revert. So far tonight things seem to be OK using one master ASIO channel.

I'm only using Live for a multimedia development project I'm working on up in LA, and I don't want to disrupt anything on the main DAW while I'm working on a CD and other personal projects.

Thanks,

Greg

It's just a single "asioscop.dll". Just make a backup of your old before you try the new one.

Yes, I know.

I finally got it running last night, but I'm finding Live to be very convoluted when setting up multi-channel audio routing.

Otherwise it's stable now.

Thanks,

Greg
