I get the pci overflow error sometimes..
I use a pci latency program to set all my cards to 248 latency.. the rest is 64.
What else can i do?
I'm running win xp with 1 scope 3dsp and 1 scope 6 dsp.
I have no conflicting irq's.
I use reaper as my daw, and use scope in xtc mode.
thanks alot!

Re: getting rid of PCI master overvflow
I have a pretty similar setup with 1 Luna II + 1 Pulsar 2. I run this on a nForce 650i SLI SPP chipset (generation before yours, but running an Intel CPU) , and it works flawlessly (15 masterverbs) with no tweaking of pci latency or whatnot, running on XP SP3.
As a standard way to start troubleshooting i would make sure i had the latest drivers for both motherboard and graphics card. Also check that you have updated to the latest BIOS firmware, which is where they typically fix stuff like PCI issues etc.

Re: getting rid of PCI master overvflow
any other suggestions out there?
i dont want to update the bios unless i have to.
I flashed one motherboard already, and it died, so im a bit sceptical

Re: getting rid of PCI master overvflow
i've always had good luck flashing the bios, but i know there's potential for trouble.
as i remember, there were some very poor performing nvidia motherboards and it wasn't until later bios versions that they worked right.

Re: getting rid of PCI master overvflow
just to clearify,
i DO get the PCI overflow message sometimes when a device needs to reoeganize, and thats perfectly normal. Did you do the masterverb test?
