pépere formant

Post by Gordon Gekko »

This friend of ours got himself a 1983 1000cc Eddie Lawson replica bike and never stopped sending us photos and videos about his newly acquired toy, for about two months. So being jealous and a little bit fed up, I decided to make fun of him using the audio part of the video, after he installed a 4X1 muffler on it. It's his christmas present so to speak. The lyrics are slang from Quebec, parental guidance advised

Ostie que c'est drôle!

Did you think of hooking up with a guy that works at CIBL? Or the UQAM radio?

Sounds great but maybe the MP3 is cutting out the vocal a bit too much?
Are we listening?..

thanks Paul. I guess the voice could be bumped up a few dbs, but if this thing gets anywhere near being loaded up again on my desk it'd also get harmonized a bit further. It could use brass, funky wahwahed rythm guitar and maybe a clavinet, interested? I know you can do wonders with that kind of stuff :)

oh yeah, I went over his place during christmas holidays and into his garage where the beast is stored for winter... he started it and gave it a few revs :o man that thing roars so loud... I'm currently upgrading the song and might post it here if it becomes better

My Poutin has an E at the end

We will need to get marcuspocus back to MTL if we want to have a complete chapter, right?

Off hand, I can say there is Gekko, RedSun(South Shore), Eliam (North Shore) and myself with SC cards. Marcuspocus moved to Paris a few years back...

I'm in Saint-Laurent. Look for Renée Poulin in the phone book :)

hey catscratch! good to see there is another montrealer hangning here.. unfortunetly I've also been living in Paris for 10 years. That doesn't mean I can't take part of a get together sometime as I visit my folks in Quebec at least once a year. Anyways, thanks for the suggestions
