I was going to check the price on Scope DP but it seems to have disappeared.
I can't find any info on it on Creamware's site and it is'nt in the pricelist at infinite vortex either.

Anyone?

I think that Creamware are going to announce a new Dev setup after Fusion is released. There has been a lot of speculation about what form it will take but as far as I know Creamware themselves have made no mention of it. There was a vague hint many moons ago that it will run on all the cards rather than just the scope - I can't remember where I saw that though.

I was going to say "hope that helps" but that doesn't seem appropriate.

cheers

ouuuu!

talk about scope dp is very hush hush.

i sure hope they make it a bit more viable for more users. for e.g., lower price, and no specific hardware requirement.

or even just make 2 development platforms availible, a lite and an extra strength.

modular patch wrapping!

i am not asking cw to go bankrupt over this, but i'm sure something could be worked out if it was given some collective thought.

i think the dp for pulsar users has been put apart for now. too many people having it means to many devices all around, and they don't sell only cards, but devices too, and maybe is reasonable for a company to avoid to loose control of the market totally.
i can't blame them for this, but to announce it and then change idea...not so nice...

they said way back when that they would make it available to anyone with 10 or more dsps. of course, you would have to buy the software, which is many thousands. not sure what is up now, or if they wish to take that course of action.

The reason why there's no DP on Creamware's homepage is that there's a new version on the way, Scope/DP version 3.x, wich is not finished yet. (The developers are kind of busy with SFP 3.1 and Noah).
You can still buy the software offcourse, but I don't know if the current version runs without a Scopecard. The price is approx. €3.000,- excl. sales tax/v.a.t./whatever.

Kim.
