Acpi mode

Hi Im having problems with switching to standard pc mode Ive tried to do it in the device manager but i cant se the apm support.PLzzz help me Iv tried to do a reinstall and pressing F7 but nothing happens.......

I just did that on my system. Had to reinstall W2K, but it worked OK. Instead of pressing F7 when you see the SCSI message, you can also press F5 which shows you a list of computer types to select from. I liked that because it gave me a bit more feedback that I was in fact choosing Standard PC.
