i need some simple pulsar's device (like steinberg's tool one) or some simple mixer that i can swich phase.
i need this for "mid-side" technique.
maybe somebody already made some "m-s matrix"?
this can be "cool tool"?!

what's a mid-side technique? Phase inverting one channel? If so, it'll give you a mono incompatible mix..
What is it anyway.. curious.

There´s a Direct-X plug that does that job superbly! It´s called Ultrafunk "phase", it had cost me about $30 a year ago. Perhaps there is something similar on the Creamware platform..., have never done a research on that!

"m-s" is full mono compactible tehnique!
and simple pulsar's (realtime) tool will be great!?
i'm sure that somebody can make spicial "m-s matrix" for pulsar!?

hi sandrob,

if you have the mod2 i could whip you together a constant phase invertor.

otherwise its just accomplished via a constant val bipolar set to -64 fed into a ring modulator being fed the audio signal you want to effect. -64 is out of phase, +64 is correct phase at 0 the signal disappears. anywhere in between the top and bottom range is something slightly out of phase.

made an effects patch recently which modulates the phase via this method.

still working on the patch, i'm finding effects patches quite a bit harder to make interesting.

oh yah, i've come across a device defex made awhile back mean for ms matrixing...

its called The Xenon CODEC
MS Encoder/Decoder, availble only on his site at http://www.neutron7.com.

that should do.

best.
