Problem finding ADAT in Cubase/Nuendo

Post by sinnapunk »

Whats the trick to use ADAT option in nuendo? I've just changed from another card to scope pulsar 2 + scope project. I just get ASIO in/out as an option in nuendo. I tried to search it up in nuendo.net forums, but no luck. Do I have to set it up from the scope fusion platform? In that case I cannot use xtc plugins in nuendo..
anywho, got a clue? plz :D

Have a great weekend :D

Edit your XTC project to include the ADAT module.

Cubase should find the inputs then.

both, kinda....

there is a project that can be edited in Scope mode called xtcproject.pro and that is for i/o routing in xtc mode. there is a good description of how this works in either the tips and tricks or the xtc forum(i'd check the latter first).

i believe me$$iah was refering to the i/o enabler which is in the scope/app/IOEnabler folder.....

and then in Nuendo, you must select the asioScope driver and enable the proper number of ports.

once again, the xtc forum would likely be the best place for info. xtc mode is not really supported anymore(but it still works great) officially, so those guys in the xtc forum know most of the more arcane tricks that can be done and are the people to ask.

personally, i'd suggest you really check out Scope mode. when you understand what it is, you'll find it VERY useful. do you have experience with hardware and hardware routing? Scope is identical and realtime. it also sounds great, i really prefer the sound of the Scope mixers...

I've done som hardware routing indeed. but I'm very pleased with nuendo for the moment and I don't have much time right now. But I will indeed check out the scope mode. Thank you for your help:D
