And on the other screen was the FM8.

Now if I can only get my hands on Xite...I'd have better equipment than Tangerine Dream.

I confess.....although I'm a fan until their Peter Baumann (included) era and lost them a bit afterwards.garyb wrote:there are Tangerine Dreamers hanging around here, in anonimity...

Actually, Jerome Froese left TD a couple of years ago. The guy who replaced him, Thorsten Quaeschning (or something like that), seems to be bringing some of the old vibe back into the music (though it's kind of more like the early 80's Johannes Schmoelling period, not the Baumann years). Don't get me wrong, I've always loved Jerome's music, but it was kind of always Jerome's music and never really Tangerine Dream.alfonso wrote:I confess.....although I'm a fan until their Peter Baumann (included) era and lost them a bit afterwards.
Good news for SC though.
I have the DVD of the 1992 tour in the U.S. and I don't really like it, the cheesy saxophone and the absolutely "dozenal" electric guitar are unbearable.
Maybe with these "new" tools they will get back some of the lost visionary inspiration. Maybe Edgar Froese should just get rid of all the others, son included, and pick up someone of the real new generations.
