what is the revision history of creamware cards?

what is generation 1 or generation 2?

what does (germany 2000, rev 1.3) mean?
what does (germany 2000, rev 2.1) mean?

what type of cards are you talking about?

I have luna/powersampler/scope home boards that are hw revision 1.3 and 1.4, but there wasn't a gen.1, afair. at least you can read everywhere on PZ that adding a luna (or derivate) can help to lower your ulli like gen2 boards.

I never looked at my pulsar2 boards, but since I will soon switch them to another machine I might take a look at them, if that helps.

(germany 2000, rev 1.3) is a scope pro, 14 dsp, with date 8-2004

(germany 2000, rev 2.1) is a pulsar2, 6dsp, with a date of 4-2004

I was wondering that too yesterday!

I have a rev 1.3 from 2000, and at first I thought it would be a Type 1 , from the 1st generation, when i first saw it.

Yesterday, i installed this cards "stand-alone" without my other scope's installed, and i found out it was a Type II, which could handle the ULLi settings of 3ms fortunately!!

So would that mean that rev1.x / rev2.x doesnt say anything about the 1st/2nd generation status of the card ??

Or could it be, that it was send back for repair, and then processed to a 2nd generation??

Cheers!!

What I do know is that a scope pro after 2002/2003 will handle big plugins without pci overflow. Why ? I don't know really ... I have just purchased a second hand scope pro (because i could not wait anymore xite, although i am still intersted in !) for adding more DSPs and i bought it a little more than I thought just because i know i won't have any problem with the Minimax and STW P100/A100 I have... That's all i know / can say. Hope it helps.... I had a new scope pro few years ago and damn... i could load many minimax + STW reverb without any problem. that's why I am waiitng for this scope pro in my Pc now (more DSP are also welcome for my current projects !)
