Hi,
I was wondering does the DIGIDESIGN COMMAND 8, work with Scope Card normally through midi, my friend has one and since I'm planing to buy a controller like Mackie MCU pro.
Thanks
DIGIDESIGN COMMAND 8
Re: DIGIDESIGN COMMAND 8
Hi,
I'm pretty sure that using standard MIDI mode it should work, just as a BCF 2000 or any other controller.
SFP does not support sysex, so it's quite likely that some functions don't work as expected.
Besides, it's said to be specifically designed to control Protools, so a more generic controller, like the MCU will probably be more useful. The C4 extension can be great for controlling some plugins, and you can add 8 fader extensions too if ever you need something "bigger"
I use a Mackie Logic Control in Mackie mode, together with Wolf's mixer which has multichannel MIDI support and works with the MCU out of the box.
There are several "unused" buttons and modes (like the VPOTs) that I use to control some Reaoer functions at the same time, which is quite handy.
Feel free to ask or PM if you want more details
Cheers!
Raul
