I use drum sounds from the 'real megadrums vol.2 CD'. They're good, but a bit to crisp and clean for some styles. Can anyone recomend a tool to get a (slight) lo-fi effect or to make them sound more like they we're from a 70's soul or funk recording?

Thanks for your advice

Try the "fiLtHer" device (I think there might be two with the same name, both available on PlanetZ forum in the "Device" section) or wavelength's 'dirt' device from http://www.track0.com/wavelength ...

Have you tried the bit dither in pulsar, I can't verify this, (locked out of setup)
but if you set to a low value like 12 gives a lo fi feeling

Also the Pulsar overdrive effect at gentle settings can power up and add dirt to some drumsounds.
