I am wondering if we North Americans are supposed to pay VAT when buying from Europe.
Any ideas?

Re: Paying VAT but not living in Europe
I purchased instrument libraries from Best Service in Germany before, and when going to the checkout I noticed that the VAT was deducted in the checkout section of the purchase. It also worked that way with those Bastards at Turnkey, where the prices are so high you hate to shop there. But sometimes that have items I cannot buy here like the Viscount Oberheim stuff of Yore.
Haven't tried in a few years but it was nice to see the deduction.
International shipping has become such a pain though anymore. 2 years ago and even through half of last year it was a pleasure. But nowadays factory sealed is the only way to go.

I think VAT for you should be set at about 25% to offset the problems we're having in Europe due to your money markets
Sorry Paul, couldn't resist

Due VAT, taxes and money speculations, soon the people will return to the barter...

4PC + Scope 5.0 + no more Xite + 2xScope Pro + 6xPulsarII + 2xLunaII + SDK + a lot of devices (Flexor III & Solaris 4.1 etc.) + Plugiator.
