Pulsar II 24 ch ADAT ?

Post by Cochise »

I've just contacted via e-mail a guy selling a Pulsar II 24 ADAT... :-?

Personally I don't know any plate hosting that solution and the guy's answers about are sounding anyway strange to me ( I asked about analog I/O type, he answered something like no analog).

Any tip?

the 24adat was sold on the original Scope cards and was available as a optional purchase for many years. the 24adat plate has 3x lightpipes and 2x midi but no analog i/o. most likely, this was a srb with an i/o plate added or had an i/o swap at some point. if you need this type of i/o, it should work just fine....

So the 24 ADAT I/O was a plate for the Pulsar I 4 DSP board, available as optional plate for the 2nd generation board...

Looking forward, probably I'll need ADAT I/O for future expansion of my equipment. At now a plus plate could fit good in my rig.

no, the 24adat i/o plate was for the SCOPE board. you know, that's the original 15dsp developer's platform board....

the 4dsp board didn't have the removable i/o plate.

the adat/24 plate has, indeed, no analog I/O. I have one myself.
it has an internal connector that hooks to an additional slot cover. you need 2 slots for using the cable whip with it, thus.
the whip connected to the additional slot cover has only midi afair (I don't use that whip).
