Problem with hardware installation error

I had scope 4.0 working fine for the last few years and suddenly I have a message that there was a problem connecting to the hardware. With no sound working. I uninstalled the software and tried to install scope fusion platform 3.1 but I got Installation error kernal file puls2os0.21k not found or invalid. Please check installation!!!
Then another message says cannot start creamware uninstaller error code 0002.
So I cant uninstall. It´s years since I installed everything so I am a bit rusty. Can you help me to resolve this problem so I can get my trustty pulsar card working again

Yes I thought of that and wasn´t a bad move gave the inside of the PC a good vacuuming and cleaning too so the ventilaters are a bit quieter too. somehow by reinstalling sfp 3.1 again seemed to have solved the problem I think it may be dsp related thanks for your help.

glad it works, too (I'd also suspect just a tiny mechanical displacement)
but... in case of vacuum cleaning with a regular device: check before use if the hose of the cleaner builds up static electricity (caused by air friction on the plastic material) - it's indicated by dust or hair accumulating on the outside of the outlet.
the static load may discharge easily over 2 inches or even more - of course it's more likely to hit a grounded part first, but you cannot rely on that

OK point taken I shall check for static build up I kept a safe distance and was more focused in giving the fans a good clean. Cheers for the advice

yes, but only if it's your own machine or you know it's heritage...
stupid me once did that (carelessly) with a rack unit about which the seller had made a remark it served in a hospital or so - holy sh*t

A couple of days later I was rewarded with a serious inflammation starting in the 'side channels' (or whatever that's called) of the nose. Learning by doing the hard way ...
