Gigastudio 4 / Cubase 4 / and VDAT are working together very well, but need many more channels and DSP power for plug ins. That's where XITE-1 comes into play.
I have definately run out of DSP power using 3 x Scope Professionals since my synths are extremely complex.
XITE-1 will allow me to use 24 voices in Multi-Synth, with an external Studio Electronics SE-1X, and 3 x 8 voice synths, 8 in Solaris, the FB5 mixer with the added MB-4G / FP106B to have all 32 GSIF channels and various FX, and VDAT hooked up to record and master in the same project.
It will also be my live set-up, mixing and mastering w/ VDAT / Cubase 4, and playback of mp3's via the 24 bit wave module.
No longer will I need to re load projects for recording, and others for mastering. It will be a complete project, that will keep my workflow going. That alone is worth the price, not to mention the sick amount of step sequencers and synth polyphony I require.
Imagine 32 channels for GS4 and Kontackt 2 instruments, 32 channels for VDAT, 8 for Cubase 4, 24 voices of Poly for Multi-Synth w/ the new step sequencer, and 8 voices for Solaris 5.0.6 !!

Scope has definately evolved, and SonicCore's XITE-1 will give Pro Tools rigs a run for their money, actually passing them by since the DSP synths have no equals.
