hi all

precison :
After many email in our support email box, we have to precise that the demo versions of the two new Plugs (DAS DVERB & DAS MASTER IT EQ) are working NOT ONLY ON XITE-1 but also on EVERY SCOPE FUSION PLATFORM VERSION (take care to copy/paste the .sys file in the right folder)
(DAS MASTER IT EQ not working on Mac )

Among the first reviews :

"I think you nailed it, ...doesn't sound like any other eq in scope, more like duende, .../... but its interesting how you can get 'that' sound within a card (scope) that can't do what you have done with the eq! "

Hi dimitrios,

filters (low and hi cut) must be activated with the "FILTERS IN" button

EQs (low and hi shelf, low mid , mid and hi mid ) must be activated band per band AND also "together" with the "EQ IN" button .

Hope this will help ...

Enjoy

we will release a "HOW TO USE" pdf ...

cheers

How much does he weigh?

Ankyu..............please stay seated.

Actually I want to buy anything that looks like it takes tons of DSP?

I heard Wolf was releasing a 256 Channel mixer, and SpaceF's Multi-Synth is 16 Part Multitimbral....and my old DAS Modular Mixer will mix 128 AUX's for wireless UE Pro 10's w/ subs and 3-way drivers.

I WANT THEM ALL.

yep .. here I am ! :D

I definitly think that the Xites will be great for live application. And BIg mixers MUST be the next step as many channels can be necessary for live... These DSP monsters will be ready to handle them !

That new Master IT EQ really does have a sweet sound to it. Truly seems a great addition to the SCOPE Platform. I have not demo'd it long and it is harder to demo it now cause i'm getting constant glitches and studdering now for some reason, but the sound quality brought a smile to my face on first impressions. My compliments to the Chef.

P.S. What will the price be for it?

Hi All,

Some thoughts about the "weight" of plug ins ...
How much does he weigh?
Master It Eq weighs something like 2 AD 21065 DSP (2200 cylcles) ...

When we began develop it, thinking that we could achieve an EQ without any basic atoms from sdk, only maths operators, we didn't know very well where to go, if it would be possible, and overall how much DSP could it take !

When the basic algo was ok, working but not optimised yet, a question came first : what maximum weight is acceptable for what result ?

Because in fact, weight is the direct result of what compromise you are ok to do !!!

For this plug, Master It EQ, the answer was : NO COMPROMISE, NO TRUCATION, NO APPROXIMATIONS, as you know that for Digital Filters and more precisely for EQs, these truncation and approximations are the main factor to take in count ...

In fact we have already done the same with our original and novative dynamic algorythm, that is the engine of DAS 2A, DAS 1610, DAS 660 and more recently DAS COMP AI, but here, as we work on Signal dynamic (Vs frequency for Eq) the weight is not so important ...

The BIG ADVANTAGE in making our own algorythm for EQuing, is definitely that you can make it do absolutely what you want or decide ... more, with the help of some C++ code, this bacomes fast and easy do ...
This versatility opens doors for 1/1 emulation of analog (vintage or not) hardware ... but also for emulation of Software , for sure ...

Here in the case of Master It Eq, it is not an emulation ... of anything ... only the gui has been inspired by some amazing stuff !
It is a Mastering EQ where we decided the values and LIMITS that sounded the best to us (to our ears ;-) )

Real 1/1 Emulations will come in a second time ... we need time !
Actually I want to buy anything that looks like it takes tons of DSP
Jimmy, according to what was written above, we only can say that weight, even if it determines a lot how a plug will sound, have to be a permanent factor to keep in mind when you start developping a device ... but in another way, we can say that this XITE-1 is a benediction !!! as many other developers already sais, it opens doors !!!
I heard Wolf was releasing a 256 Channel mixer,
WOW
and SpaceF's Multi-Synth is 16 Part Multitimbral....
WWOOWW
and my old DAS Modular Mixer will mix 128 AUX's for wireless UE Pro 10's w/ subs and 3-way drivers.

WWWWOOOOWWWW

;-)
the sound quality brought a smile to my face on first impressions. My compliments to the Chef.
THX for the support !
P.S. What will the price be for it?
hmmm, you have to wait a bit ...

cheers

:( Oh i will must check it once more. Last time i run demo of that master eq it really did not do anything special to me. I probably need to put more time since many of you are really enjoying this demo.
Can anyone recommend me how can i reveal magic of this eq? I mean i want to hear in which area i can spot that this eq is better then XY eq?

edit:-

That is not possible unless you've created new atoms with a sharc dev kit as far as I know.
