or any module w/ an 'ext ptn' input - in the info popup on these modules it suggests that you should route an lfo or control sequencer etc. to these inputs to change the pattern, or the waveshape in the case of an lfo or the waveshaper - however when you do this the patterns change erratically & too fast, even with very slow lfo rates, & with the control seq you get jumps to high values (since the modules have 128 patterns or so) with only small increments...
basically i would like to have the pattern/waveshape change every few bars, or to scan through them w/ an lfo in a more predictable/controllable manner.
im sure im doing something wrong here & have tried various methods but cant produce the correct behavior - any suggestions?
btw i know this would probably be better to post at aderns forum but i cant be bothered going all the way over there
