now, the "old" card price will surely drop... time to go for 3x 15 DSP!
just a couple of questions...
will there be some less powerful entry-level version ?? some card similar to the old luna and pulsar 1/2?
i suppose the new devices will be compatible with old cards but... how many dsp will require the new device!?!?!? i have the fear that my "brand new" scope SRB will behave like my first pulsar 1 with 4 DSP now!!!
great news! I honestly did not expect it to be this soon.
Sadly the pricetag seems to place it well out of the range of all but the very wealthy under us. It doesn't look like it's a viable "upgrade" option for most Scope card users at all. (although I guess it's not really meant as that, more like a pro-segment addition to the Scope family).
Is there gonna be any range of products with maybe lower power and lower pricetag?
At least with the cards there were options for everyone to start using the Scope system (and you could always expand it later).
In short, let\s hope the technology will carry over into a wider upgraded product line with a couple more affordable options.

give us hi-res images (yes, also the rear panel, not only the front pics you put on ftp yesterday)!
give us... ahem... anything you can
can't believe the pain all of you must have felt not to let a single word slip off your lips for so long...

Yes, that was quiet hard ( because i'am so happy with this developement )
We will provide you with further information as soon as possible, but please be a little bit patient, because now we have to work on in a few other things regarding the frankfurt music fair. On monday we'll start to transfer our messe-booth to frankfurt. Hope to see much of you there :=)
cheers

go on, and rock the fair!
Hope to see much of you there :=)

We have to inform ignorant potential customers to get the S/C virus spread.
Agree!, shit products like SB Audigy have been sold for millions at price very high for what the card is, thanks to a good marketing.
I still think that Xite1 price would be a little unders 3000 included VAT. Somethign like 2980 Euro incl VAt, sounds psicologycaly much less than 3100.
Great news ! Not so great news is we'll have to wait a few more months to get Scope V.5 software.
I hope they kept (and enhanced) the XTC mode. In these days and age it would be a fatal error to stay outside the integration paradigm. Come on SC give SSL's DUendee, TC's powercore and UA's Uad1 a good competition !!
Anyway, a big bravo to SC and all people involved in this. It's incredible they kept this level of secrecy during all the time people (including me) were bitching about the nothing will ever change in SC land etc...
I can say:
(1) it is not a cooperation between inDSP and Sonic Core - only Sonic Core created this!
(2), it is not a Solaris in a rack.
WOW!!! I am absolutely speachless. RESPECT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet at least the prices for 3dr party will raise enormously. So a basic version which has to be equiped with dynatube & co. will cost a lot more...
um, huh? what do you mean, exactly?
I don't think that you will get DYNATUBE as a "gift" as it was with scope. DYNATUBE simulations are worth 600+ € at least & I bet this will be the price for them on Xite... See, this is a real pro platform now because of the pro-price (as I said, which is really cheap in my eyes) & now 3rd party will finally make PRO-prices too, because on such a platform the big buyers buy their stuff.
