Dynamic mixer

Post by Liquid Len »

Does anyone else find the Dynamic Mixer unstable? I like using it to do final summing, but it works for a while and then suddenly goes dead, or just one of the channels dies. Is there any (lightweight) mixer available under Devices? Besides Shroomz' modular mixer?

I was using it as a sub mixer for a while w/o any trouble..

I have had many custom mixers since then and have not needed any CW stuff.

Yeah, those mixers look nice but they are kind of DSP heavy - I have to make do with a 6 chip system for the foreseeable future.. (which really sucks because I want to use sonic timeworks chorus/delay more, but it's just out of the question for now). I'll just use the micromixer I guess.

SpaceF has an old 8S mixer that has 8 stereo channels and uses next to nothing for DSP's?

Have you got BBII?

Check the device threads also as I found some neat mixers in there from a while back that were low DSP / high quality.

Thanks for the help. That mixer is no longer available. Same as the other mixers that used to be under devices.
