can a16 ultra output DC?
Ok i have this idea that im going to control something im making with a16 outputs.
its like a mechanical synthesizer that has stuff controlled by voltages. those are generated by a device ill make in scope or modular. much simpler than a midi to CV converter.

otherwise i might just buy some crappy old adat tape machine and rip out the output capacitors.

it doesn't have to be super accurate, its not controlling pitch, that is done with a simple square wave
