I've got a POD (amp simulating box for guitar) and you can edit sound parameters on it using Sound diver software via midi. It works fine until I open the pulsar software, at which point the midi connection between Sound diver and the POD is lost. Ideally I want to be running Cubase (ie with pulsar midi source going to sequencer midi dest) and controlling the parameters on the POD using Sound diver at the same time. Does anyone know if/how I could this?
Thanks in advance.

Midi problem: Sound diver not working with v2.01 (by Daread)
Subject: Sound Diver
I also just got the POD PRO and I have Emagic software. Sound Diver is made by Logic Audio(Emagic) and I don't know if it will work with Cubase. If you do decide to load Emagic Platinum, I think there is a good discount to upgrade to Emagic.
This is all theory. I'm in the process of partitioning my primary harddrive and getting Pulsar/Samplitude2496/and Emagic to all work together using the TASCAM TMD1000.

Subject: POD works fine in pulsar
If you want to record with POD in Pulsar, just make sure that "sequencer midi source" is connected with "pulsar midi dest" and the other way round. Then it works without probs.
To connect a sequencer-software like cubase you have to use the midi merger. I could send you some project, if you want,
but I use Pulsar + PowerSampler (also PS Midi Port). You can also record the clean guitar while monitoring some effects. So you can choose your amp, speaker a.s.o. later.
