It's straight from Triton, hummel bluesynth, and Zarg flute (this thing ROCKS!). This tune has a 90's beat, bass that travels between funk, newjack, and latin, house-ish+jazz-ish piano, strings that's somewhere between disco and I don't know what. (ala Jamiroquai, incognito) It sometimes amazes me at how much you can do with just 3 instruments (the chorus part is just bass, piano, and strings). But then at times, I hate it because those 3 instruments are filling things up, and I can't add anything.
Ya know, I think it's best to post a piece before it's finished because you all come up with very good advice and I always want to go back and change things!!
Paulmartin: and NOW you know why I was freaked out about parallel movements.
By the way, this is working its way towards a vocal piece, no melody yet.
