Scope Automated Rig
Scope Automated Rig
Phase II of the automated Scope rig has been completed.
This rig works flawlessly using hardware reverbs, and Klangboxes to allow elaborate mixes for vocals and live drums.
This DAW runs Larry Seyers Acoustic Drums, and VSL Orchestral Persussion libraries via triggers and GSIF drivers. It also has the DAS FOH / Monitor mixer w/ 4 Sennheiser wireless mic sets, and 4 wireless UE Pro 10 3 way ear monitors.
The B2004 and Prodyssey Klangboxes sound very authentic, and let's me and the PAE / FOH man use tons of those great sounding Scope FX,DAS EQ and Compressor plugs.
A hardware sequencer is used in conjunction w/ Wolf's MTB and 8 channel Program Changer. I use 2 MIDI I/O's and 2 MIDI Source modules in SFP to have 32 MIDI channel automations performed live, and a Doepfer pocket fader and MIDI Solutions FP8 to handle all on the fly fader adjustments. Several MIDI'd expression pedals can change pans, and adjust rates of LFO's for various effects also. They work especially well w/ Delays, Phasers, and Flanging, but the best is the new lo-fi effect plug I use via Bidule. There are vocal parts that sound great w/ Wolf's Matrix delay and this. SpaceF's BBII delays are used on the drums and synths.
The PCM81 is for the lead vocalist, Q20 for background vocals, and the Q2 for drums. The mixes live are of a mastering quality thanks to Scope, and 3rd party developers.
Bookings will follow pre-production on New Years Eve opening for a georgous female saxophonist I have yet to hear. I heard she plays well and is a really hot looker as well.
Thanks to Creamware and 3rd party developers it looks as though I will be lining my pockets again. The mixes and sound of the group are to die for. The vocals are nothing special but are arranged well and the effects and reverb presets are nothing short of stunning.
Creamware Scope Fusion Platform Has No Equal........Period.

Is that a plugin that they sell or is not available?scope4live wrote:It also has the DAS FOH / Monitor mixer
Anyone else out there with this Scope plug that S4L talks of so often?
Yeah,....Just tell Olive I'll sell you a copy of mine since I have a dual installation policy.
Just Kiddin' Olive. BTW Thanks Again for a great mixer.
Yes Olive has different versions of it and would sell something like it probably. I honestly don't know why he doesn't push Scope more for live PA applications. I thought you collaborated on the design w/ him? Remember I asked for your knobs, as they really stand out on an LCD when playing under all of those 1000 watt PAR Lamps.
Once I start generating some extra cash with the Hens I am going to go to a live surround rig for my personal use. DAS already has a 2 x 6 conversion module, where the mixer doesn't have to be surround, which I thought was of good design, but I just get sicker and sicker every month with this stuff.
There is really no limitations in Scope as I am finding out.
Having the B3 and ARP emulations in hardware, and the other hardware effects makes it possible to use more mixing and custom synths.
Mehdi's multi timbral synth is looking rather sweet right now, and would be perfect for automation purposes, knowing his attention to details.
The 3rd party developers and SDK guys really make Scope and PlanetZ a one stop shop for everything.
Thanks Again For your developments Shroomz. Your MPC 16 was perfect for changing drum kits, synth and effect presets as well.

This is a pic I took from Reno at at a place called Virginia Lake.
We use to play hockey on it when it freezes, but now these " fuckers " own the lake. No boats or skis allowed, and the bastards have their own crosswalks that they actually waddle through.
They share many traits with the cacklin' Hens.
Are you getting GS4? If so, try Chris Hein Horns, they are the real deal. Some cat from Germany, imagine that.

Good to know Brotha' Man Crickstone.
BTW everyone, this works well with the Behringer and I am thinking about having Olive do a Mackie/ HUI version at some point when the ROI and production levels deem it necessary.
Did I mention the muted mains talkback feature for the wireless mics and earpieces? It's a soundman's nightmare, but the Hens love it.

yep, it has been designed to work with a BCF 2000BTW everyone, this works well with the Behringer
in fact, all the lower part of the mixer, faders, buttons, pots, are totally controllable via midi from a BCF 2000,
That is to say that i could delete al this part of the gui and only keep the upper part (different views as SIGNAL FLOW, IE and AUX settings, MASTER BUSSES ...) that is controlled via the mouse .
i will try to make a video demo of this hardware control soon ...
i wanted to do it before but still didn't find time to it, sorry !!!
About selling ths mixer ... why not !!!
but it is hard to decide a price ... it would be something like 250,00/ 300,00 euros !!!
is that good ???
cheers

Olive do you remember a member who posted here a few years back named Ernst ?
I am searching for his crossover solution and can't find it. I thought maybe you knew him.
I would love to read those posts again as I was just starting to use a Scope / Giga DAW then when I was a road rat. I believe it was in 2004?
Thanks.
