I'm using my 2 Pulsar SRB (DSP booster without I/O) in Nuendo 3.2 with a Terratec PHASE 24 FW sound card. I work in XTC mode only and use the pulsar's effect in the send/retourn groups of Nuendo (basically 2-3 masterverb, 2 Delay and some compressor in insert-track)
If you have read my previous post you know that I've a little problem of instability... I've try to enlarge latency in Cinit.inf to 512 samples and it seems to become less obvious...
But... must I install however the adaptec aspi driver???
Practically I do not use the software scope 4.0 and I haven't create any project in it... it is mistaken?
Thanks for a reply....
Is Adaptec ASPI driver needed for run Pulsar SRB in XTC mod?

Yes my system now works very well. The Intelcore Quad 6600 with Nuendo 3.2 and XTC-powered plugins it's a bomb... I've had some trouble with the terratec Phase 24 FireWire with Pulsar SRB. I've remove the Phase 24 and plug my old pulsar I + Pulsar SRB now the system is very stable.bool wrote:@OP:
Can you please confirm that XTC mode is working for you on a quadcore?
Thanks.
Now I'm lookig for a Pulsar II with classic I/O for minor latency... Hi...
