Lesson: if you check, allways check your sample memory first.
And no, I feel not better now, I can feel the cold swet again
I think this is every performers NIGHTMARE. That's why I still don't believe in performing live. Guess I'm just chicken. So very every one of you out there who do live performances: TWO THUMBS UP!!

Oh, one more stupid action I just had and what will sound familiar to you: Last week I bought me an SPL Tube Vitalizer  and as with all new devices you want your new gear connected asap as soon as you get in your studio..

As always I was in such a big hurry that I tripped over some of my (midi)cables (I still havan't got a clue where all these cables are going to) thus disconnecting a lot of machines and even broke some connectors... I immediately stood up to check what the damage was and didn't even notice my hand was hurt. Now I have to wear bandage because I sprung my hand! S**T!!

No more playing the keys for at least a week. And worst of all I still haven't checked out my new gear...

So a fine lesson from me: Always make sure that all your cables are out of the way...

I play in a EBM/industrial band together with other 3 elements... We had a liveshow assigned but 3 days before the gig happened a very bad thing and 2 of us cannot come to the show. Me and the remaining guy passed the 2 days before the show arranging the synth and samplers of the 2 guys into logic on a last-hour pc that we brought to the show. We didn't want to bring our 19" monitors so a friend gave me a damn 15". Everything was fine, we tested the pc and worked well and the day before the show we reharsed without problems. As the show was on city 400km far from ours I had the genial idea to transfer the songs on my DAP jukebox (a mp3 player) to have some listening on the car during the trip... The day of the show... We arrive to the place, we made the soundcheck without problems. The situation was arranged to fast that in my mind was impossible that everything would be good...infact at half of the show I take a look on the monitor and it was shouted down. Panic !!! In about 1 minute I think I kicked that damn monitor about 100 times and had time to run to our car, take my dap jukebox and plug it into the mixer... The show started again without glitches and none understood that the our last 5-6 songs was "performed" in playback except the vocals  The other guy lowered the volume of the MS2000, of the Indigo and A3000 and fainted to play  All is good what ends good
