IRQ check?

Post by Hangee_77 »

I just checked my creamware boards if they are shared IRQ with other devices.
Here is the results:

(PCI) 17 Creamware DSP-Board
(PCI) 17 OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller
(PCI) 17 SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio
(PCI) 22 Creamware Pulsar2

I have 2 Creamware boards, Pulsar2 (main)+ Luna2.
It seems like the Luna shares with my onboard soundcard & Firewire.
I believe i have disabled my firewire, so it is only the second Creamware board that shares with my onboard sound card.
Is this still ok?

first off, why is the onboard audio not disable in the bios? while you're at it, are the parallel and serial ports disable in the bios? that will free up irqs. are you using firewire? if not, you can disable that as well....
