Live Surround 5.1 Using A16 Ultra

I saw there was a surround version of certain mixers.

If I used 4 x Barbetta Sona 32's, a stereo sub, and the Motion-Sound Pro3t, could I pull this off in a surround version of the STM1632 ?

sure, why not?

i'm not sure what that'd do for your audience(unless the show was in 5.1), but you could make your personal system pretty trippy...

That's good. I don't go through the FOH /House all of the time.

I just love the separation I get with the 32C's, and the Rotary. I would really like the sound of adding 2 more, and the stereo sub.

Seriously, you would add a unique feature to your sound using surround.
You could f.e. play solo's in real space dimensions.
You'd get recognizable by your sound, directly.
If your collegues are as lazy as you told, you will definitely put yourself apart.
