Buy This Now !!

This is a smokin' deal even though there is an untunable voice, there are many parts and chips available 4 this. You can avoid the voice that is in question by removing it and still have 5 voices of FAT dripping analog.

Any SDK guys should get this and use it as a reference. Then buy the part and resell this for at least 800-900 USD !!

Notice that even if you find one used, in need of a repair to a voice card, it still sells for over 1600 USD !!

It's good to know that when I paid 7500 USD for both of these back in '85, and almost ruined my marriage, that I can still sell both of these for 4400 USD.

That was a sound investment. I paid 6800 USD for the CS-80, and could only get 1700 USD back in 1983 !! That was proof of the pudding IMHO.

Oberheims will always be FAT BASTARDS regardless of what century they were made in.

I believe Scope DSP cards will outlast all motherboard designs.

The new voice card came from a guy who I use to buy spare parts from also. I still have them as none were ever needed, but the card sold for 300 USD.

I guess he still doesn't get much business. They are all in a trunk covered with spider webs in his grandnothers basement maybe.

Even the back up batteries are still testing OK in the diagnosics prompts.
