This was just a few weeks/months before Waldorf Rebirth... and creamware collapse !!!

Maybe there are still discussion about it or maybe the SOLARIS can be use to replace a Waldorf Wave ... ;)

Yeah......QWave has done that in spades already.

I heard the Waldorf Q last week for the first time. It was a cool looking little yellow rack, and it's sound was very digital but suprisingly unharsh. They did make some pretty cool stuff. But a hardware Solaris vrs. Wave comparison, is like Tiger Woods vrs. a paraplegic in an 18 hole game.

Anyone who wishes to have a Wave only needs to purchase Zarg's QWave. The true hunter of all Wave synthesizers IMO. That synth will cause a divorce in a happily married couple. It is unending in it's sonic pallette and modulation sources.

I just bought Terratec Komplexer and it's rather wonderful. For a VSTi the filters are surprisingly good, very smooth and rich sounding with good resonance, and it sounds beautiful and has some great patches as well as immense possibilities. Plus it imports MicroQ soundbanks - I've been busy converting all I can find on the net the last few days. Not flawless as the wavetables are not exactly the same as the original - but you can load other wavetables too so you could load in the original wavetables too theoretically.
