your post made me remember the funeral for my granddad many years ago. it was my 18th birthday...
but I have much positive memories of that day, since I've never met that many relatives of mine my whole life before, and never again since. there was much talk of my granddad, and old stories and such, and there was not much time to be too sad. we're all sure he would have enjoyed it.
I hope your memories are as strong as ours. you had my thougths yesterday.
